Jubilee Barndance (and I wrote the music!)

Wow, what a cast! And I am on stage with them, singing away with a live band playing!

Here is a short description and how you can get tickets:

Jubilee, Kentucky is not a real place, but is depicted as a salute to the many, many stars, hopefuls, producers, technicians, audiences, listeners and fans of the “little guys” in the history of country music in America. This new musical hopefully gives a long overdue credit to the values, ideals and aspirations of the live and radio-based Hoedown and Jamboree shows that were so much a reflection of traditional culture in the rural United States in the 1940’s and 1950’s.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors (62+), and $11 for students and children.

Covid-19 Policy:
In an effort to protect the health of our cast, crew, volunteers, and patrons, Shelby County Community Theatre requires that persons entering our building remain masked at all times regardless of vaccination status. Masks and hand sanitizer are available throughout the building. Areas outside and upstairs will be available for patrons to safely space and enjoy refreshments during the show’s intermission.

For this production, we will apply “social distance” seating. With social distancing, we’ll automatically block adjacent seats in the same row to the left and right of a group of seats as purchases are made.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and enjoy the show!

I enjoy your blogs immensely, they keep me in touch with my home state in so many ways. Congratulations on your most recent musical endeavor, very impressive and not too surprising for a man of your considerable talent.
