I am exceptionally pleased to announce that my “Life and Landscapes®,” Kentucky Journey Logs will now be published periodically in the famous Whitesburg newspaper, “The Mountain Eagle.” A legendary newspaper that has long “screamed out” community action and truth in politics and social issues. 
Whitesburg is neatly hidden in the far eastern mountains of Kentucky. Not enough of us flat-landers have sought out its living stories collected in communities tucked away in the hills below the towering linear edifice of Pine Mountain. Lying at the headwaters of three mighty rivers, the Big Sandy, the Kentucky and the Cumberland Rivers, the deep culture of independence there has blended with its mountain music to make the region unique in all of the nation. And for 115 years, the Mountain Eagle has fought for her people. I am proud to bring my travels in Kentucky to the culture, science and history of this special region. Keep tuning in and ride along with me!
