Kit Carson Inscription Rock in Keams Canyon, Arizona

Reggie Van Stockum at the Kit Carson Inscription Rock in Keams Canyon, part of the Hopi and Navajo Native American Reservation in Arizona. Carson was leading American troops in the removal of Navajo natives from Canyon de Chelley to the Basque Redondo. The date of this inscription is August 13, 1863. The date of my visit was November 30, 2023.
