“Julius Caesar” at the Shelby County Community Theatre!
22 actors on stage for Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar!” The Shelby County Community Theatre puts on tremendous productions! This is a Main Stage Show by our wonderfully Shakespearienced Director, Dr. Jack K. Wann. The performance will pin you to your seats while simultaneously entertaining and teaching you. These are dream roles in all parts of theatre. And that is even before you get to the poignant lessons of history! Professional Directing by Dr. Wann, Professional Sound by Clint Gill, and Professional Lighting by Phil Hoagland. What more do you need? Well, how about Lethia Nall (Cassius), one of our finest actors and a great Shakespearian talent experienced in New York City Theatre! I study her delivery techniques and listen to the choices she makes in speaking the rhythm of these famous Shakespearean utterances. Come to the show and see for yourself. Marty Rosen embraces the major role of Brutus. You will be touched by his sensitive humanity. And Nathan Thomas Milliner soars forward in the role of Mark Anthony. Each of us as actors are challenged by this quality of theatre. You will be pleased at how hard we have worked. I am the Soothsayer and I get to tell the Big Guy what is about to happen. Come on down and see if I get it right. You know, “Beware the Ides of March!”
